1. Setting up vehicles
1.1 Create vehicle through account management
Navigate to Account view and to Vehicle from there
Tap on the "+" symbol at the top right corner of the Vehicles view
Enter name for your vehicle and battery capacity
1.2 Create vehicle through charging flow
Find your charger and tap "start"
Find the Vehicle section in the charging start "drawer" and click "Add"
Enter your vehicle name and battery capacity and click add vehicle.
1.3 Setting up Enode connection
Not all vehicle makes and models are supported. Find the up-to-date list of supported electric vehicles here
Connecting the vehicle is an optional step, it allows to see vehicle battery charge level and can help with smart charging by prefilling the "Current battery level" field
Navigate to Account view and open the "Vehicles" view
Find the vehicle you want to connect and open it
Scroll down and tap the "Connect" button
A new view opens where you need to locate your vehicle (If the vehicle is not supported for connection, then the brand and model are not visible in the list)
Follow the on-screen instructions to successfully log in with your vehicle manufacturer account and complete the connection process
2. Create charging profiles
2.1 Create smart charging profiles
You can manage (create and edit) charging profiles from the Start charging view or from Account > Charging profiles view
Navigate to the app's Account view
Tap the "Charging profiles" button
Tap the "+" symbol in the top right corner of the view
Select profile type "Smart charging"
Enter the name for the smart charging profile you're creating
Enter the desired battery charge level - this is a % value of the battery state of charge at the end of the charging session. For example, if you want to use smart charging to charge your electric vehicle to 85%, then enter 85 in the field.
Specify the end time - this is the time when charging should be completed.
2.2 Create timed charging profiles
You can manage (create and edit) charging profiles from the Start charging view or from Account > Charging profiles view
Navigate to the app's Account view
Tap the "Charging profiles" button
Tap the "+" symbol in the top right corner of the view
Select profile type "Timed charging"
Enter the name for the timed charging profile you're creating
Enter the desired start time and end time and tap "Save"
3. Start charging using charging profiles
3.1 Using smart charging profile to start charging
Smart charging can currently only be used in the context of a private tenant (home charger owner).
Find your charger in the app's main view and tap the start button
The charging start view opens and shows charging session settings, scroll down to "Charging profile" and select "Change" to switch to smart charging profile
Make sure you also have a vehicle added and selected (without a vehicle, smart charging cannot be performed)
Tap the "Start" button at the bottom to initiate smart charging
Observe how the charger starts charging to measure the current charging speed to calculate the time needed for charging
After measurement, the charging session will go into "Standby" mode to wait for the next time when the price is cheap and charging will occur
A useful graph is also displayed showing the planned schedule, where the hours when charging is planned and the kWh amounts to be charged are displayed.
3.2 Using timed charging profile to start charging
Timed charging can currently only be used in the context of a private tenant (home charger owner).
Find your charger in the app's main view and tap the start button
The charging start view opens and shows charging session settings, scroll down to "Charging profile" and select "Change" to switch to timed charging profile
Tap the "Start" button at the bottom to initiate timed charging
Depending on the timed charging schedule (start time and end time), if the start time has already passed, then timed charging will start immediately. For example, if it is currently 12:05, but the timed charging schedule start time is set to 12:00 and timed charging is started at 12:05, then charging will start immediately and continue until the specified "End time"
3.3 Using regular charging profile to start charging
Simple charging profile is always available and cannot be created or deleted. It is always available as a choice when starting charging
Simple charging always charges as much as possible until the electric vehicle battery is full or the user stops the charging session
Find your charger in the app's main view and tap the start button
The charging start view opens and shows charging session settings, scroll down to "Charging profile" and select "Change" to switch to simple charging profile
4. Charging in public chargers
4.1 Find a charger and start charging
Navigate to Map using the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen.
If location services are enabled on your device, nearby charging locations will be displayed automatically.
To find a charger, you can:
- Browse the map and tap on a charger location.
- Tap the Location icon in the bottom-right corner to zoom in on your current location.
- Use the search bar at the top of the screen to search for a specific location or charger.
- Use the available filters in the Map view to narrow down the displayed chargers based on your preferences, such as charger availability, connector type, charging power, or other supported criteria.
- Swipe through the suggested nearby chargers at the bottom of the screen or tap View all to see the full list.
Select a charging location to view:
- Location name
- Charger ID
- Available connectors and their power
- Current charging price
Start charging
Tap Start and select a connector in the pop-up window.
On the next screen, review the charging session details:
- Charger and connector information
- Charging price
- Selected payment method (tap Change or Add to update it)
- Selected vehicle (tap Change or Add to update it)
Tap Start to begin charging.
During charging
- An ongoing charging session is displayed in a floating panel at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap the panel to view detailed charging session information.
- To end the session, tap Stop at the bottom of the charging session screen.
4.2 Adding payment methods
Navigate to Profile and select Payment methods.
Tap the + icon in the top-right corner of the screen.
Select your preferred payment method and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.
4.3 Quick Start
In the Home view, tap Quick start at the top of the screen.
Quick start is available only when location services are enabled on your device.
A pop-up window will appear. Follow the on-screen instructions.
The app will automatically search for and verify a nearby charger.
Once a charger has been identified, you will be prompted to connect the charging cable.
After the cable is connected, the selected charger and connector will be displayed.
Verify that the displayed charger and connector are correct:
- If the information is correct, wait 3 seconds and the charging session will start automatically.
- If the charger or connector is incorrect, tap Stop to cancel the session.
During charging
- An ongoing charging session is displayed in a floating panel at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap the panel to view detailed charging session information.
- To end the session, tap Stop at the bottom of the charging session screen.
4.4 Payment history & Payment summary download
Navigate to Profile and select Payment history.
Here you can view all payments associated with your account and their statuses:
- Captured – Payment completed successfully.
- Refunded – Payment has been refunded.
- Voided – Payment was unsuccessful and has been cancelled.
To download a Payment Summary or Refund Summary, select the relevant transaction.
In the pop-up window, you can view detailed information about the transaction.
Tap Download at the bottom of the screen.
Select your preferred language and follow your device's download and file-saving process.
Note: Transactions with a total amount of €0.00 cannot be downloaded, as no payment transaction was made.
4.5 Check charging history
Navigate to History using the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen.
The History view displays a graph of all charging sessions (public and private) for the selected time period.
To change the time period (Week, Month, or Year), tap the period selector in the top-right corner and use the arrow buttons to navigate to the desired period.
Scroll down to view your recent charging sessions. By default, the 10 most recent sessions are displayed.
Tap View all to see your complete charging history.
